Does it cost to use this site?

No. The Binge Project will always remain free to use. We will also be bringing in strategic advertisers in
ways that make sense with the brand and the community. Your feedback is always welcome there! We
want them to provide you with cool stuff to help show off your personality and shows that interest you.

Create an account — there is no requirement to be invited by another member. You can connect via your
favorite social app or your email login.

How should I use this site?

However you like! We want it to be your go to for you and your friends to share what shows you love, you
like, and you hate. We even give you a lucky purple start to really showcase those shows that you just
can’t stop binging! The easiest interaction is to mark shows you’ve
seen using the ‘star’ icon on each show page. You can rate shows and leave comments for other bingers
so they can understand what you did and did not like about each show.

Use the ‘Add a Show button to review a show, or to record the date you watched it—do this as you watch
shows (to populate your binge library) or to share your opinion of a show you’ve seen in the past.

Can I log a show and review it later?

Yes. You can edit a show entry and/or add a review at any point after logging a show. Simply go to your
profile page and locate your binged library to edit.

What happens when I connect my Facebook account?

We request read-only access to your Facebook account so that we can show a list of your Facebook
friends who also have Binge accounts. We never post on your behalf unless you manually share content
using our Share options (see below).
As of August 2018, Facebook no longer permits external services to automatically publish content to its
users’ timelines. Please use the Share option on a film, review or list to publish it manually to your
Facebook timeline.

Does the site have protected accounts?

Not at this time. If there’s sufficient demand, these may be added in future.

TBD - update with info about where we get the show data

How do I add a show to The Binge Project database?

You can submit any we’re missing to info@thebingeproject.com. Hopefully you won’t need to though!

Why doesn’t The Binge Project support old browsers?

Because we’re new and we can’t go back into time, at least not yet!

the site’s future direction.
